Ground veal and lamb molded into small sausages by hand and seasoned with garlic, salt, and pepper. The sausages are then grilled over an open fire and served in a pita pocket with chopped onions and sour cream.

Originally from Greece, very similar to Burek. Pastry filled with chopped spinach, feta cheese, onions, egg, and seasonings.
Kaymak

A dairy product commonly consumed in Bosnia. It is a creamy dairy product similar to clotted cream. It is made by boiling milk slowly over very low heat, skimming the cream, and then allowing the cream to chill and ferment for several hours or days.
Baklava
Sweet pastry dessert made of layers of phyllo dough and chopped nuts laced with honey or syrup.

Rakija
An alcoholic beverage that is distilled from fermented fruit. Common fruits used are plums, apricots, or grapes.
