MyPlate Suggestions
Here are some tips to make a healthy MyPlate:
1. Make half your plate fruits and vegetables
2. Switch to skim or 1% milk
3. Make at least half your grains whole
4. Vary your protein food choices
5. Choose foods and drinks with little or no added sugars
6. Look out for salt (sodium) in store bought foods
7. Eat fewer foods that are high in solid fats
